What are the 5 Questions That Earn You the Right to Sell?

How many sales meetings with business owners are focused on what you have to offer rather than how to make them more money, surround themselves with higher quality teams and/or systematize the business to work without them?  Answer - too many.

Here are 5 Questions that will earn you the right to sell.  

Ask questions about their situation and what's most important to them. For instance...
  1. What's their #1 priority?  
  2. Why that one? Who's working on it? How long has it been this way? What have they tried?  Getting the results that they expected?
  3. Is this important to them? Why?
  4. What are the consequences of not having this? Why?
  5. Does this concern you?
It's only after you've listened, shown you understand and demonstrate you appreciate their situation will you be able to ask the question that will move the conversation forward... "Are you open to solutions?"  It's only at this point are they receptive and you know exactly how to position what you offer to solve their problem.
